A Case of Intestinal Obstruction Associated with Chilaiditi¡¯s Syndrome in Alcoholic Liver Cirrhosis

Abstract
Chilaiditi¡¯s syndrome is a condition associated with intestinal disposition (usually as colon-hepatic flexure) which is located between liver and diaphragm at radiologic findings, that found in 0.1-0.25% cases which is diagnosed by chest radiologic examination and most of cases are accidentally found in clinical evaluation of concomitant disease. Mostly asymptomatic, however it can be associated with symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, anorexia, abdominal distension that called Chilaiditi¡¯s syndrome. It forms symptoms ranging of mild abdominal pain to a severe complicated intestinal obstruction. We report a case of intestinal obstructions associated with Chilaiditi¡¯s syndrome. A 42 year-old male patient with alcoholic liver cirrhosis, Present with abdominal pain. Symptoms were improved after NPO and hydration.
